Image Capturing Strategies

In this drift I don't want to stick with just one or two strategies for capturing my pictures. Unlike the audio drift where you are walking and simply waiting for an interesting sound to happen, I feel that with photos you can more actively seek out interesting things to take pictures of. For this walk I feel that a lot of my attention is going to go towards simply taking photos of the moment. I want to visually capture the environment which I am walking and not just the more peculiar things about that space. So with that, you may see a lot of what you might call "landscape" photos. I want to document the trip itself and express it visually.
I want to capture still and/or animate imagery..
  • of images taken every 2-5 minutes.
  • of text found in any given environment
  • of trees without shooting leaves
  • of man-made light

Drift 2 Strategy

For this photography drift I will take to the same route I traveled during my first journey through the city. When I was on my first drift I saw a few photo opportunities, but I didn't have my camera on hand to capture them. However, this time I do not want to just stick with the original route, I also want to go to a few other locations that I think might bear some promising shots. I decided not to stick with one image capturing plan either. I think it might get a little tiring walking along a path looking for two kinds of things to shoot. Think about all the things you might miss.
